Trek4Vets was born from tragedy, from the loss of mates in combat and to suicide after service.
“We exist not to replace existing veteran support, but to change how the broader community shows up for those who served. Because funding alone cannot solve the loss of purpose, identity, and mateship many veterans face after leaving the uniform behind.
Through shared experiences, we bridge the gap between civilian and military communities. We raise funds for trusted veteran organisations and create moments where people actively step up, walk alongside veterans, and show their support through action.
Trek4Vets is about participation, connection, and building a more hopeful future for veterans, their families, and our nation.”

Trek4Vets
Closing the gap between our military and civilian communities
Trek4Vets brings communities together to stand beside those who have served. Through collective participation in events across the country, we raise awareness and funds that support organisations delivering vital services to veterans and their families.
These events create moments where civilians and veterans move forward together, strengthening connection, building understanding, and reminding every veteran that their service is recognised and their journey continues with the support of the community around them

The Weight of Our Impact.
We don’t just walk for a cause; we work for a result
At Trek4Vets, we believe that every mission must have a clear objective. When our participants shoulder a weighted vest or step off into the darkness at 2:00 AM, they aren’t just engaging in a physical challenge—they are participating in a tactical investment in the future of the Australian veteran community. We view every kilometer covered as a strike against the isolation that too often follows a discharge from service.
The statistics below represent more than just numbers on a screen; they are the tangible markers of a movement dedicated to bridging the gap between service and survival. By converting raw physical endurance into sustainable financial support, we are able to deploy resources directly to the front lines of veteran mental health. This includes funding evidence-based recovery initiatives, such as surf therapy through Waves of Wellness and the disciplined community of Harbour Combat Sports, ensuring that the support is as rugged and resilient as the people it serves.
